Roids

Roids, aka anabolic steroids, are used through out North America. They help build muscle, strength and also help burn fat. Roids go back to the early 1900s. It's a known fact they were used after the Second World War. However, it is believed they were used even before that by the Nazis. The Germans were then first to use steroids in the 1930s, and it is also believed that the Germans used roids in the 1936 Olympics.

Word soon spread to both the Russians and American about the steroid use, and the hunt was on to produce anabolic steroids. Dr John Ziegler then decided that if anabolic steroids could help heal the sick and malnurished, athletes would also benefit from the drugs. Testosterone was the first roid created. The next, Dianabol, or methandrostenolone.

Roids soon found their way into gym across North America. The benefits were apparent, and steroid use skyrocketed. The 1960s and roid use put the sport of bodybuilding on the map. Soon after, new steroids were hitting the market, and the rest, is history. Today, there are several dozen steroids on the market, but only a small number remain popular among athletes(baseball roids and football roids)and bodybuilders.

Popular Roids

Over the last few decades, the same roids remain popular. There's Sustanon, manufactured by Organon, is a blend of four testosterones. Winstrol, chemical name stanozolol, used in pre-contest and popular with athletes looking to lose body fat and gain strength. Deca Durabolin, also manufactured by Organon, is used for strength gains, and often cycled with Sustanon, or a single testosterone ester. Dianbol, as mentioned above, is often used to start steroid cycles. Over the last decade another steroid has become very popular, trenbolone. Roid Costs

People often wonder what the cost of a roid cycle is. The truth is, the price varies depending on where the roid comes from. If the user buys roids off the street, they will pay some of the highest prices. If online, they pay less. Today, some bodybuilders make their own steroids using roid powder. This method is the cheapest, but making your own roids is dangerous, and the user may risk infection.
