Roid Side Effects
There are many roid side effects, some are common, and some are rare. Similar with roid rage, side effects often depend on the steroid that is being used, the dosage, and genetics.
Genetically, many people can avoid many of the cosmetic side effects of anabolic steroids. Some people who never had acne in their life, may never get acne while using anabolic steroids. People who have no history of balding, are less likely to see hair loss from the anabolic steroids. However, this is not always the case, and a user should not consider this a rule.
Many roid side effects occur not only when the steroid is used wrong, but often when the individual stops using the steroid. When someone stops taking roids, their testosterone/estrogen levels are not at the right ratios, and the user may see acne and/or gynecomastia.
Other side effects, which are harder to spot are liver and kidney damage, high blood pressure, prostate enlargement and cardiovascular problems. These side effects can be very serious. But the problem is, many steroid users don't see these side effects, so they don't pay attention to them. Often a steroid user only cares about their physical appearance, and not their inner health. The truth is, the inner side effects from roids are the ones steroid users should be concerned about. Acne can clear up, gynecomastia can go away, or fixed via surgery, but problems like kidney damage and enlarged prostate are not so easily reversed.
Many recommend regular check ups by the doctors, and to get blood work done, to make sure there are no serious health issues from the roids.
